ARRA Governor's Reserve Awards

Summer Business Institute - $672,922 to provide Clark County youth with opportunities to attain work readiness skills, mentorship and to earn wages.

Department of Health and Human Services, Summer View Youth Correctional Center - $104,321 to provide high risk youth training in the areas of refrigeration, air conditioning, building maintenance, horticulture, culinary arts and entrepreneurial skills necessary to start a business.

Department of Health and Human Services, Caliente Youth Center - $126,000 to enhance current programs which provide training to Youth in landscaping, construction trades, culinary arts, embroidery and vocational trades.

Department of Health and Human Services, Victory Neighborhood Services Center - $450,000 to provide Summer Youth Employment Opportunities during the summer months.

Department of Health and Human Services, China Spring Youth Camp / Aurora Pines Girls Facility - $71,990 to train Youth in horticulture, construction trade management and keyboarding/money management as well as basic math and English. Through this training, Youth will attain social/interpersonal skills, time management skills and vocational skills to become job ready.
