Clara Andriola
Business - Northern Nevada

Clara Andriola has lived in Northern Nevada since 1987. Her primary background has been in the realm of technology and adult education, founding the first technology training center in Northern Nevada dedicated to training all levels of individuals in the corporate and retraining arena. 

She is the President of the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, with one of many duties including the development and implementation of educational and training programs, designed to building a skilled and qualified workforce to meet the ever demanding needs of the Construction Industry throughout Nevada. 

Ms. Andriola is a member of the State of Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education, serving as a two-term vice-chair and chair, and has been a member of the Commission since 1997.  Additionally, she is a member of the Advisory Board of the State of Nevada Small Business Development Center, as well as a Board member of the Academy of Career Education High School, a vocational charter school focused on construction education; she also serves as a Council Member on the State of Nevada Apprenticeship Council. 

Ms. Andriola will receive her M.B.A. from UNR in May of 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Cultural Anthropology.  She has two sons, one is a freshman in college studying at the University of AZ and her eldest son resides in Las Vegas who works in the banking industry.
