Marc Furman is the the
Senior Administrative Assistant of the Southwest Regional Council of
Carpenters, which has five local unions with over over 10,000 members
and jurisdiction across the state of Nevada.
Mr. Furman is also the Chairman of the Southern Nevada Joint
Apprenticeship Training Committee and serves on the Northern Nevada
Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee with a combined total of over
1,800 apprentices in training.
In addition to the Governor’s Workforce Investment Board, Marc serves on
the Board of Directors for the United Labor Agency of Nevada whose
primary mission is to provide food and assistance to unemployed
workers. Additionally, he serves on the Executive Boards of the ACLU of
Nevada and Nevada Boy’s State, which assists high school students who
have and interest in politics. |
