Maite Salazar, President of Salazar Communications, specializes in new business development, public/private partnerships, grassroots informational campaigns, and bilingual, bicultural Hispanic/Latino marketing.

Maite earned a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, with Distinction in International Business and an Emphasis in Finance, Spanish, and Latin America from San Diego State University.

Since moving to Las Vegas from Southern California, Maite has served as chair of the Marketing Committee for the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and on the executive board of the LUCES coalition (Latinos Unidos Celebrando Salud / Latinos United Celebrating Health), a community collaborative of the Southern Nevada Health District. Maite also is the founding president of Toastmasters en Espaņol, Nevada’s first and only Spanish-language Toastmasters Club.

While a resident of California, Maite collaborated with the IRS in designing and implementing a successful bilingual Earned Income Tax Credit / Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (EITC/VITA) program and served on the Youth Council for the Imperial County Workforce Investment Board.
