Long-committed to the people of Las Vegas,
Bob Brewer has sought to improve the quality of life in Clark County and
Southern Nevada. Working with various organizations, he has been
involved in community programs that assist in the development of new
business and job opportunities, education and training programs, and
youth programs.
Bob is currently a vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of the
National Association of Workforce Boards. He is a member of the
Governor’s Nevada Workforce Investment Board, and has served as the
Chairman of the Local Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Board for the
last twelve years. He is also on the Boards of the National Association
of Minority Contractors, the Chairman of the Nevada Minority Business
Council, Vice-Chairman of the State Commission on Minority Affairs, and
is a member of a number of national associations.
A seasoned manager with 39 years at Southwest Gas Corporation, Bob is
the Director of Corporate and Administrative Services. He directs and
coordinates the functions of eleven essential and diverse departments.
As a licensed Realtor,
he manages the acquisition, disposal, and development of real property
assets for Southwest Gas. He also provides direction to the Supplier
Diversity department and programs throughout Southwest Gas Corporation. |
