Dennis Shipley, Chair
 

Dennis Shipley has over thirty-five years of human resource management experience in the hospitality industry, thirty of which have been in or around the casino industry.  He was involved at an executive level with the opening of five major gaming properties in Nevada and one in Michigan.  Her served for eight years as the Corporate Director of Human Resources for Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc.  Prior to that, he had been the Director of Human Resources for Caesar's Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada.  After opening the Silver Legacy in Reno, Nevada, he became Vice President of Human Resource for New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.  Management development and employee training have been his personal priority over the years and he has trained literally thousands of supervisors and managers during the course of his career.  In July 1998, he began his consulting business specializing in the areas of human resource administration, succession planning, management development, labor/employee relations, executive and employee compensation, benefits, and employment.  He currently serves as the Corporate Director of Human Resources for the Cannery Casino Resorts.
