Christine Syverson
 

Ms. Syverson is the Human Resources Manager for the City of Sparks, holds a bachelor's degree in managerial sciences, and has worked for the city since 2003. Christine is in charge of recruiting employees, overseeing training, managing employee relations and classifying the job descriptions and salary of city employees. On a personal note, Christine is married and has a son who is 14, and a daughter who is 13. She likes to camp, hunt big game, garden and read. Chris Syverson is a second degree black belt in karate. She teaches for the Ken-ju-bo-ai Karate Association at Silver Lake Elementary. The city staff often call her the "Energizer Bunny" for being on the go all the time. Christine joined the Nevada State Rehabilitation Council (NSRC) as a new member in August of 2004. She is a knowledgeable and committed advocate for individuals with disabilities. Christine represents the "Business" component of the Rehabilitation Act required membership on the NSRC.
