Jill Godin is a
lifelong resident of Las Vegas moving here from Saint Louis
Missouri at the age of 6 months. Jill graduated from Las Vegas
High School and went on to get an undergraduate degree in
Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation
Counseling at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Jill is a
former Ms. Wheelchair Nevada. Jill has been married for 3 ˝
years to Roger and has a 19 month old daughter named Holly.
Jill works as a Vocational Habilitation Trainer at Southern
Nevada Adult Mental Health in Psychosocial
Rehabilitation. Jill’s primary energies are currently placed on
preparing for the opening of the Recovery Café, a completely
client-run snack bar which will be housed in the Rawson-Neal
Psychiatric Hospital due to open in July of this year. The
purpose of the Recovery Café is to help clients who live with
mental illness learn psychosocial and work readiness skills.
