Mary Evilsizer has worked in the
Disability Field for over 20 years. In 1995 she established the
Southern Nevada Center for Independent Living in Las Vegas
Nevada as a stand alone Center. She has served as the Center’s
Executive Director since inception. Mary has been an advocate
for many of the disability systems change actions in Nevada this
past decade. In 2001, she received the Annual Professional
Advocate of the Year Award from the Disability and Advocacy Law
Center. Ms. Evilsizer has a Masters in Counseling and a Masters
in Business Administration and is bilingual in English/Spanish.
Currently she serves as the Chair for State of Nevada
Independent Living Council, on State of Nevada Assistive
Technology Council and the Nevada State Rehabilitation Council.
She believes that working together we can make a difference. |
