Dr. Tom Vernardos is a
Special Education Consultant for the State of Nevada, Department
of Education. Dr. Vernardos is responsible for transition
services under the Individuals with Disabilities in Education
Act. He worked almost two decades in the Albuquerque Public
School system and his responsibilities included transition
service, vocational and psychological testing, and reports
involving high school students. Tom has working experience with
the public vocational rehabilitation program and has taught at
several universities and has a number of publications to his
credit. Dr. Vernardos was appointed to the former Vocational
Rehabilitation Council in 2002. |
